A product page can state 99%+ purity, but peptide COAs are where that claim should become specific. For research-use-only buyers, the useful questions are straightforward: Was this batch tested? What method was used? Does the document match the product in hand? And does the reported result actually support the claim being made?
A certificate of analysis is not a marketing accessory. It is a batch-level quality document that helps a buyer assess whether a research compound has been evaluated against stated specifications. Next, consider recency and consistency. A current batch document is generally more useful than a certificate from an unknown prior run.
